Tempus Fugit
Time does indeed fly. This
morning I planned to send out a reflection before worship but one thing
led t another and here we are at lunch time. There's a salutary lesson
here for us as we start Lent. Our forty days and forty nights will be
gone before we know it. We shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking that since Easter isn't until mid-April
we have plenty of time before we need to begin reflecting on our sins
and focusing on how to get right with God. Time is limited, and it is
fleeting. The time to dive into Lent is not next week, not even
tomorrow, not even later today, but right now.
